The house magazine of the Sogetsu school of ikebana, founded by Sofu Teshigahara in 1927 and still published today. Issues carry the school's own arrangements alongside photography, design and writing from beyond ikebana - the school also ran the Sogetsu Art Center in Tokyo, a hub for avant-garde film, music and performance. The cover is a full-bleed photograph of flames against black, the title in brush-drawn kanji above pink and chartreuse display type.
