Kaufmann's twelve precepts of modern design, set out across 32 pages for MoMA's Introductory Series to the Modern Arts. Around 70 photographs of furniture, glass, textiles and household goods by Aalto, Eames, Le Corbusier, Mies, Breuer, Noguchi and Zeisel. Kaufmann ran MoMA's industrial design department and organised the Good Design exhibitions.
